
A variation to regular kesari with goodness of milk and flavour of fresh sapota. It's a simple yet delicious dessert
Ingredients:
- Sapota (Chikoo) – 4, big, peeled, chopped
- Rawa – 150 gms
- Ghee – 50 gms
- Sugar – 200 gms
- Sunflower Oil – 10 ml
- Cashewnuts – 2 tsp
- Raisins – 2 tsp
- Cardamoms – 5, powdered
Instructions:
- Grind the sapota pieces in a mixie and remove.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
- Fry the cashewnuts, raisins and rawa for 2 minutes or until golden.
- Add the sapota, sugar and 200 ml of water.
- Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
- Add the cardamom powder and stir gently.
- Add ghee and stir again.
- Remove from flame and cool.
- Serve.
